Illustration Friday: SMALL

This was definitely inspired by Brian Froud…
It is dedicated, however, to the wee people that have invaded my house. Lily.

ANGELS

I went to bed last night with great sense of satisfaction – art day was productive, and I have not even once thought about Individual Tax Accounting! Ha!
Though I did wake up thinking of how I don’t see anything remotely related to “alternative” in Alternative Minimum Tax. Why call something “alternative”, when alternative of it is zero! What a sad situation – waking up to a thought like that…
But before I went on a continuous rant, I thought to post fruits of my labors before I forgot. This batch is already on the way out of the door (they are going to Lucy)… Not sure about their colors, but during Renaissance they would have been as bright and as colorful as they could make them, so why should I be shy? Anyway. They are small, large oval is 3X2.5” and round is 2.5” diameter. I can’t wait to do more of them!!!

Illustration Friday: STRENGTH

I have been a slacker, so today was appointed as an art day. After some cutting, pasting and drawing I managed to come up with this…
And this… Since I owed myself a Night.

Illustration Friday: NIGHT

And while I am on the subject: It is going to be a three dog night – it is cold, and we got first dusting of snow. I am tempted to light the fireplace, but am not sure if someone is living in the chimney (like a raccoon). So, no fire, just huddled me, and Swiss Miss…Though while cutting and drawing I was thinking Faeries, summer, dark forests, nights of a thousand stars. No such luck. Just five month of cold. Oh, well, there is an opportunity to catch up with all those indoor projects. Lily.
